Kamron, Jersi and I all traveled to Vegas the day after Thanksgiving to get to a concert for Kamron (Pink Floyd). His dad and step mom Linda, as well as his brother Brett, sister Lauren and their friend Sara were going down to the concert too. We left the other 6 kiddos at grandma and grandpa’s house.
Some of the more boring-ish details:
We stayed at the Stratosphere. Kamron had big plans to ride the “Big Shot” which is a rocket ride on the top of the Stratosphere tower – but when he went to ride it, they had closed it due to high winds. Dang it. But we did still venture of the ginormous tower to look out over the edge. Pretty trippy being up that high.
The room next to ours was full of noisy rowdy kids – when we wanted to sleep that was an issue.
Jersi was an excellent traveler! Seriously – she barely made a peep the whole way there!
Jersi wasn’t allowed in the casinos and I didn’t really want her there any ways due to the massive amount of smoking in there – but it was kind of a bummer because one of us generally had to stay in the hotel room with her. We survived though. And we had a blast! (Note to self: Next time either leave Jersi home or bring Morrissa to watch her for us)
Here’s a hilarious story from the trip:
As we were driving to Vegas, I got a call from Brett/Pepe (Kamron’s brother) who had already arrived in Vegas. He asked me to do him a favor and watch for his bumper on the side of the road. What?! Apparently he had hit a huge ol bird while driving and to hear him tell it – it was the size of a turkey and feathers went flying everywhere. He and Lauren and their friend Sara were laughing their heads off over the hilarity of him hitting this bird that came out of no-where. But then when they stopped at the gas station they found that his front bumper was missing and his brand new license plate was completely dented in! What a massive bird! Needless to say Brett no longer found it so funny (as his car is only a moth old) but I couldn’t stop laughing at him the whole rest of the drive. (we never did find his bumper on the way there, but Row (Kam’s dad) saw it on the way home, completely on the opposite side of the freeway!)
Here are some pictures from our trip:

Some crazy dance-on-the-counter show at the lunch place in our hotel (Roxi's Diner)
Saturday morning Kamron let me go explore the hotel while he watched Jersi.
I went back to the hotel room to check on them and this is what I found
Jersi did so well with this tubular pillow propping her up - she slept awesomely and she'd lay there and play too. I wish I would've stolen one from the hotel...
Are you familiar with Criss Angel? He's a famous illusionist. (Tyson loves him) He does a show at the Luxor Hotel and this is one of the doors to the entrance. He apparently had a girl sign a card a while back and threw it at the door and it stuck itself inside the glass where it now permanently resides.
And this is one of the many motorcycles belonging to Criss Angel throughout the hotel. Kamron loved them all.
Some pictures of daddy holding his Baby Pie.
And then apparently we got bored momentarily or something...
The drive home is a whole other post, so stay tuned…

I haven't been to Vegas in years! Sounds like it was a fun trip, except for the drive home. Jersi is adorable!
