It's my favorite season again - football season!! Tyson has been working his behind off all summer - practices everyday, and sometime twice a day - plus working out, and lifting weights on his own at home... His first game (on the Spanish Fork High School sophomore team) finally arrived. He was excited, Kamron and I were excited... we even braved the wind and various torrential downpours... To our dismay, Tyson got to hang out at the side lines for most of the game. There was a point in the middle where they sent him out on the offense for 2 plays - and then at the end when they were losing so badly, they sent him out on defense for about 8 plays. 4 out of those 8 plays Tyson was in on the tackle. That's more than anyone else on the team for the entire game!! Can someone please tell me why he's not on the field? I'm not sure who is more upset, Tyson, or Kamron.
It's sad because last year Tyson was a star player and all his coaches loved him. This year he's a nobody and it just doesn't seem right. Poor kid. Hopefully he proved himself a little in that game, and can continue roving himself so that they'll see the value he brings to the game. He really is very good at football - And I'm not just saying that because I'm his mom either.
The one loveliness to the game was the rainbows... At one point there were two (one right above the other) and then (and I don't know how well you can see it in the picture) the bottom one had 4 extra colors below it - it was like a rainbow on top of eachother... Pretty cool.
