Snuggled in the Swing
Her swing is her new favorite nap spot. She also loves to lean out of the seat and change the music herself. She's getting too smart these days!
So Thankful for Mr Fix-it
Kamron spent all day today working on the suburban... He googled a few key things and then set off to work. The inner and outer tie rod ends, the pinter arm and the idle arm all needed replaced. Within just a couple of hours, the task was complete! And it works fantabulously! It may sound completely sappy - but he is my hero. He always makes things better for me. Thanks Babe! I love you!
Jersi was watching her daddy... apparently she got bored...

Daytona 300
Dayton - Dartanyan - Little Dude - Brutus - Muffin Man - Tona - Buddy - (jingleheimer smith) turned 3!
Yes, I realize the Terrible horrible No Good Very Bad Day post took precedence over this birthday post for Dayton - but you must understand, I was in no mood for such cheerfulness since the cars up and died on me...
Anywho - onto Tona... He's just the cutest little dude you've ever seen! He has the craziest attitude/personality, it's hard to even explain. He is completely hilarious!
Some of his common phrases (said in hilarious voices with various facial expressions...)
"What you talkin Willis?"
"Crazy like a chick-in!"
He's getting better and better at catching a ball - His throwing is pretty much already perfected - he has pretty good aim, and a rocket arm!
I don't think this little dude is afraid of anything. He pretty much thinks he's invincible (like his dad)
In Fact - he is the spitting image of his dad. He walks exactly like his dad, he's built just like his dad, he has an attitude just like his dad, and the list goes on and on...
He has an old man face that he often looks at us with...
He very oftenly juts his chin out like a major underbite just to be funny. (And boy is it) He pretty much looks like an old man when he does it.
Let it be known - he was potty-trained, of his own doing before he turned three. A story for your amusement.. a couple days ago he went into my bathroom and shut the door... after a few minutes I called out to him, "Dayton, you ok?" "Ya I goin potty!" I went about my business, and it wasn't until twenty minutes later or so I went to take some stuff into the bathroom and found that he had locked the door on his way out and left the light on. My hands were full as a struggled to find a penny to unlock the door... Imagine my surprise (and giggles) when I opened the door to this:
Other picutres of Mr Muffin Man...

I love that Brutus!

I forgot I took these pictures of my bunny-mansion in progress...

But she's pretty stinkin cute isn't she??
Tyson and I helped Kam build it. - I used power tools - a table saw, and a nail gun, can you believe it? Kamron was pretty surprised himself...
We actually had a text conversation prior to ever building this hutch. We were discussing building my bunny-dream-house... After texting him a picture of a lovely rabbit house, the conversation went a little like this...
Me: Will you build this for me?
Him: You really want that don't you?
Me: Ya, maybe I'll build it myself
Him: I like to see that!
Me: Or we could work on it together?
Him: Okay you start!
Me: Okay Dork!
So see, me using power tools wasn't even feasible in his mind. Proved him wrong!

We put the rabbits in to see how they liked it... Peanut found a corner where no one could get to her - so I climbed inside... still couldn't reach her...
Tried enticing her with grass... nopeBut she's pretty stinkin cute isn't she??

Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day...Er, weekend...
So... Here is a delightful recap of 72 hours in the life of me... (Starting Friday the 8th of July until
Sunday the 10th)
Friday during school I received no fewer than 27 texts from my 13 year old (from our house cell phone) telling me various things like - "the kids aren't following rules" "the kids won't listen to me" the kids broke the lamp" "the kids won't share" etc. I left school early and decided not to complete my day there as just her texts (and the information in them) were getting on my nerves... ten minutes after I had arrived home, Dayton (my 2 year old) had locked my keys in my car...
I finally got that resolved and not ten minutes later, my little dog (Berklie) escaped from the backyard - when she returned she was covered in blood. She was leaving a trail of blood everywhere she went. I scooped her up and held her while I wiped blood off her to find where it was coming from. I finally found it was her two front paws - they were oozing blood. Looks like she got attacked by something - her toenails were sorta missing-ish. The bleeding just kept going... It was a mess and I started getting really worried. After 40 minutes of holding her paws I finally got the bleeding to stop.... After that she wouldnt come out of her dog house for anything.
Fast forward to Saturday - we (Kamron, Jersi and I) are out driving around and the clutch suddenly goes out on my car. Suddenly we can no longer drive. Its 90 something degrees out there and we get to walk a mile or so home. Fortunately we had a stroller in the trunk... I was in total panic mode - we do have a suburban but it is a total gas guzzler - it'd cost me $100 /week in gas to drive to school and back!
Now sunday. Sunday was Dayton's birthday - we had plans to go up to my mom's house (in Farmington) for a big ol party. Well, I woke up that morning puking and so did Morrissa - I was 100% miserable. I think Jersi is sick too cuz she's been ornery non-stop. I was feeling much better (perhaps something I ate??) and that evening-ish we head out the door to Farmington - when we are 30 minutes up the road, the suburban starts shaking uncontrollably - it seriously felt like it was going to shake apart right there on the freeway. Its the middle of a construction zone we have no where to pull over, we just had to slow down and wait for an exit. It was so freakin scary!! I call my mom bawling and they decide they are coming down to get us. While we wait for them, Oaklee (the 4 year old) starts puking all over the car. Lovely.
My family arrives and Kamron decides he's gonna attempt to take the suburban home on the back roads. We head to farmington, Oaklee keeps puking...We finally arrive at my parent's house, and Kamron calls to say he blew a tire and is now walking home. He has about a 4 mile journey ahead of him... we rush cake and ice cream and presents and head back so we can pick him up. AAAHHH. Dayton is crying, Jersi is screaming. I'm in total panic because we no longer have a car, at. all. How will I get to school? How will Kamron get to work? How will I even get to the store to buy milk? And I'm worried about Kamron having to walk all that distance in the rain.
We finally get home, Dayton and Jersi are still crying, and then Oaklee gets stung by a hornet - seriously, when does it end??
That was my 72 hours. It sucked. By the nexty morning, I have no clue what we are gonna do, how we'll pay for anythng, or anything like that. I decided staying in bed was the best option (to avoid anything else going wrong).
Added note: No worries, things are a wee bit betterish now. Updated posts to follow...

Just for general information - if ever you are given the opportunity to smell fresh dog blood, avoid it at all costs!!

What the Wind Can Do
A crazy micro storm came flying through our neighborhood last week. Tyson and I were outside, all was calm - then suddenly outta no where high wind gusts and pouring rain. This lasted all of 7.8 minutes and the sun came back out, we were back to our 90 degree weather. What on earth? I loved it!
While we were outside, we witnessed garbage cans flying this way and that, bikes flying down the street, the neighbors gate lock broke and burst open, our trampoline got all discombobulated, our aluminum fishing boat changed places in the backyard, and the best of all - the neighbor down the street owns a trampoline that took flight over their house and landed in the street. It took a bunch O' people to get it moved back. Crazy! It was like a mini tornado! And then it all ended as if it were never even there at all.
This is the only pic I got (after the tornado completed)

See that left leg is all detached??
Mustachio
I warned you all that number twelve would soon be coming...
Tyson convinced me (and even gave me the $$$ for) this cute little thing.
(I didn't even ask him to, he just wanted it that bad)Now we're at an even dozen. I promise I'll stop now. This little rabbit is only 3 weeks old. (Makes me frustrated because they are still supposed to be with their mom's until at least 4 weeks old, preferably 8 weeks old...) But Mustachio was at the pet store so we rescued her.
She's teeny teeny tiny and has a mustache that wiggles wth her nose. I love it. Poor thing is terrified of everyone and just hangs out in the corner all day. I'm actually a little concerned about her eating habits... Hopefully she's eating okay. But she's pretty cute!

Anna Gets to Hold a Bunny!
Jonathan, Jen, Anna and Jonah came to Utah, and more specifically, to our house. We haven't seen them in over a year. They'd never met Jersi and we had never met Jonah (who was born this past January)
Jonathan (and Anna) called far in advance to ask if Anna could hold one of my bunnies. How cute. Apparently it was going to be the highlight of her trip to Utah.
She was so cute! I asked her what color her shoes were and in her cute little voice she said "Pink and pink".
She adored the rabbits. I had her hold Stormy (aka Poof). She's the calmest of the teeny tinys. She loved it! She loved all the rabbits. Too stinkin cute!
Good to see them once a year-ish...

Jonah was pretty cute too - Oaklee felt the need to hold him. Jonathan took this picture.
July 4th, er 2nd..
Provo did their big firework shebang on July 2nd this year (no clue why) (I think Kamron was severely upset by this...) As always we went to the Bean Museum on BYU campus to watch the fireworks. Whilst there, a group of people came and invited Kamron and Carey (Kam's brother in-law) and the kiddos to play football with them... The older boys, Tyson, Jace, Daniel, and Chandler (Tyson's cousins) were on a walk (undoubtedly checking out the girls) so they didn't participate in the football extravaganza. Krista (Kam's sister) and I found it humorous watching the adult men playing football. It was fun. And in the end, our team won. Fabulous.
The fireworks were great as usual. Jersi didn't even care that they were happening. The fireworks were at a weird angle and we ended up having a tree in our view, so we sat on the car to watch...
On the actual 4th, there was only one city (Lehi) in the whole county doing fireworks, so we opted out. BUT with the new firework allowances we had a soectacular viewing of fireworks all around us, just from our own front porch!
I don't know if I told you before but our neighbor (jessica) had a baby the same day we had Jersi (and even in the same hospital) it was crazy. Anyways, Jessica and Zoe came and hung out on our porch as well. Her husband is a police officer and works many hours so she comes to visit often lately. Zoe is so stinkin cute! She's 10 months old and has about as much hair as Kyndi! She's adorable. Anywho... fireworks on Saturday in Provo, and fireworks from our porch on Monday. Great low-key weekend.
Happy 4th all! And 2nd!
Oh, we also went to the Provo Freedom Festival and got to pet this lovely number.
Its twice the size shown here and it actually feels very soft. weird. Dayton and Oaklee even touched it. (Tate, Kyndi and Morrissa were not in attendance...)

If Kyndi were in Charge
Kyndi made job charts for me and Kamron:
Kamrons Jobs Chach Jersis But.
Chach Dayton but.
Fod Lojry.
Clen Room.
Clen Bath room
Moms Jobs
Jersis Botol
Klen Skrat Book Room
Klen Closit
Fluf the Luvsak
Fabulous lists! I love them. I especially love the spelling of Change (chach), laundry (Lojry), and Bottle (botol). I also quite enjoy that the spelling for "Clean" changed from one list to the other...
Slinky of the Giants
Jersi actually got this monstrosity for Easter. I love it.
(Although getting the tangles out of it are horrendous)
