He started to cry and Kyndi told him to blow his nose - instead he sniffed and it was officially stuck.
Enter trip to the ER
He painted on my ipod while we waited for the doctor
After spending a LONG time waiting, having a scope shoved clear up his nose and through his sinuses without any sedation, and then waiting forever to be discharged, we finally got to go home. Doctor's conclusion: Water bead loosened itself and escaped down his throat while we were there...
Pictures of Dayton awaiting discharge. "Oh my, why they're taking forever mom?"
He seriously was a good kid through the whole thing, he grimaced when the scope was so rudely shoved into his face - and was so brave and cute the whole time that the hospital staff kept coming to peak at him through the door. As we left, a few of the nurses were talking about what a cute/good kid he was. ...When we first arrived, the blood pressure cuff scared him a bit - he was brave and let the nurse put it on, but when she left us in the room briefly, he started to cry saying he wanted it off. Cute kid. I don't think he'll be putting things up his nose again anytime soon.

I think he'll have some fun playing with water beads. My kids had a lot of fun when I bought them a bag of water beads to play with.
