Here is a bombardment of pictures from my trip to Disney with my mom. (Had a fantastically fabulous time, and I am ready to go back already)
These pics are in complete random order, and there are so many I am in no mood to better organize them.
My pic in the weird "spotlight" in our hotel room
Mom and I in our fancy pants - mine are the plum, hers are the coral
Sunset on the plane
Bug eyes... I apparently wanted to be the center of the picture...
The new Cars ride (we had to stand in a 15-20 minutes line just to get a fast pass for this thing!)
Yo ho ho and a bottle of rum
Billy Hill - a requirement to view
Mary Poppins performing (tried to get a decent picture for Sharli)
I think these are our Star Tours glasses
A picture of Ariel for Oaklee
A good view of Mary Poppins
The castle
This is a Disney worker doing some boogy in the pouring rain (while we were waiting for World of Color)
Hulk made of Legos
According to the assessment, I am most like Cinderella!
Won my mom TWICE on Midway Mania (she won the first round. I apparently learned quickly and have my dad's skills)
Mom and I went to the hotel and snuck a blanket from our room so that we could be warmer at World of Color. The rain got so drastic, our blanket was holding like 500 lbs of water all soaked up into it. (we had a moment of serious contemplation about simply leaving the blanket there rather than carry the sopping wet thing back to the hotel)
Lego dragon fighting the brave knight
Posing with Jake and the Neverland Pirate (one of Dayton's favorites)
This is what it looks like when we locked ourselves out of the bathroom in our hotel room - the q-tip and bobby pins wouldn't do the trick. We had to leave it locked for the housekeeper-lady to discover and unlock for us
This is how mom chose to dry her soggy socks (note: both pairs are hers from the same adventure in the rain)
Me and Jake
My secret snapshot of mom asleep on the flight back home
Mom's soggy pants drying
On our way to California
Posing, mostly for Kamron's brother (Pepe, aka Brett) as he loves Wizard of Oz
Space Mountain, Round 2 - as the first round I posed with a chubby-cheek face the entire ride just for the picture - only to find that the girl in front of me blocked my face from being visible.
Splash Mountain. (we are the back two peeps)
Tower of Terror - mere seconds before I plummeted to my ultimate moment of pure fear. Mom laughed at me. A lot. I hate that ride. "Is it over?" (this is what I leaned to my mom and said. I was worried it would abruptly take off again)
Turtle Talk with Crush - a MUST SEE!!
This is what happens when you accidentally zoom in when taking a selfie with your mom
There we go, much better. (our ponchos became a pretty regular outfit accessory for us)
Mom, how does your September schedule look for a re-trip???
