Christy and I have spent a bunch of weekends going to colorguard competitions - her youngest daughter is in her school colorguard.  LOTS of fun!

February FB

I was tucking Jersi in bed with her stuffed dog - I said something like: Are you sleeping with your doggy tonight? Her response: "No mommy dis doggy can't sleep, him doesn't have eye-yashes!" Silly Me.


Jersi came in my room in the middle of the night all upset. I made her a little bed on my floor and tucked her in. As I was closing my eyes to go back to sleep I heard a sweet squeaky voice say "dunight mommy. I yuv you in du moon"

Jersi slept on my floor last night. Apparently daddy was snoring too loudly for her liking...also, take note if the smuggled m&ms...

Sofia the First

Jersi loves Sofia the First (a new princess on the Disney channel)  She knows all the character names, and the princess is becoming a quick obsession  I found these characters all lined up on the stairs (along with Belle's dress) eating M&M's with no Jersi in site.  If she is actually sharing food with them, she must REALLY like them

Nice to Meet you

This is Braveyn - he is my new nephew born to my sister-in-law Krista (she is the one who lived at our house last fall with her kids)

This is Bree - she's Tyson's girlfriend - she is freakin cute, and oh so quirky.  She fits right in!

This was taken at Christy's house (without Tyson) when she was trying to figure out what to wear... Here she is sporting a shirt as her pants. (and notice, two different shoes)

People of Disney...

Mom and I saw some crazy-odd people at Disneyland.  The best one being a man who sat down on a bench and removed his pants (so that he was only in his undies).  So weird!

After him and a few other total odd-balls, I started taking pictures of "People at Disney" - unfortunately, we saw very few after my decision to take pictures compared to how many we'd seen before. And not nearly as drastically bizarre

 Won my mom TWICE on Midway Mania  (she won the first round.  I apparently learned quickly and have my dad's skills)

 Mom and I went to the hotel and snuck a blanket from our room so that we could be warmer at World of Color.  The rain got so drastic, our blanket was holding like 500 lbs of water all soaked up into it.  (we had a moment of serious contemplation about simply leaving the blanket there rather than carry the sopping wet thing back to the hotel)

 This is what it looks like when we locked ourselves out of the bathroom in our hotel room - the q-tip and bobby pins wouldn't do the trick.  We had to leave it locked for the housekeeper-lady to discover and unlock for us

 Tower of Terror - mere seconds before I plummeted to my ultimate moment of pure fear.  Mom laughed at me. A lot. I hate that ride.  "Is it over?" (this is what I leaned to my mom and said.  I was worried it would abruptly take off again)
