Curiosity Killed the Cat - and Quite Possibly Me

My curiostity is totally killing me - I have a live-feed-thingy on my blog that tells me everywhere that is reading my blog (see bottom of page) - it's really quite interesting as I have people in different states and even Canada reading my blog... I've always chalked it up to people just accidentally landing on my blog - but that changed a wee bit today...

Today the live feed webpage told me that someone in or around Bristol Tennessee read my blog by searching for me directly on google. It shows 'and so it goes, stefanie' was specifically searched. - So it brings the question - who on earth do I know in Tennessee?? And I know them well enough that they know how to spell my name?!?! I feel like a detective searching for clues but I am coming up empty. Who art thou Cap'n Tennessee?? Show thy face!! (Please?) Also, who are my friends in Gilbert Arizona and Manitoba Canada?? Just my curiosity here. Please tell me - the suspense is killing me!! For all you other readers - thanks for reading too!! (You are more than welcome to show thy faces too!!)

Some more of Oaklee's words - I love how she talks.

Pampaw - Grandpa (this is new dad - she used to call you gammaw all the time)

Jawthin - Jonathan

Gammaw - Grandma

Jaynth - James

Tethnee - Stefanie

Thawlee - Sharli

Thamee- Sammi

Taytin - Dayton

Elbone - Elbow

Tootee - Cookie

And she always just randomly says "polka dotted" in her cute little voice

Anytime she does something she knows she's not supposed to she says "Thawy"

Chili = Good!

It's not very often at my house that the children all enjoy whatever it is that I have made for dinner. In fact I have a couple of very picky eaters.
Last sunday I made homemade chili. I was incredibly worried about the opinions of the kids. (I worry over Kamron too - but even if he doesn't like it he won't complain and he'll still eat it) As I dished up dinner and passed the bowls out, they were met with exclamations of liking it. Good. This was a relief. Kamron even spoke up and said "Good Chili OhFae". The best reaction though was that of the little dude. He loved it!! He grabbed it out of his bowl by the fistful and couldn't seem to shove it in his mouth fast enough. When his bowl was empty he squealed for more. When asked "You want more?" He'd violently nod his head up and down still making his squealish noise. He loved it! He had 3 servings, and not a scrap of it ended up on the floor!
Here he is all upset because I got him down before he could eat his a 4th serving.

I Have a Problem

I'm Addicted to Subway's Cookies. Seriously, it's an issue. Yes, I know everybody eats a cookie every now and then - but very few people buy a dozen every other day and hog them all to themselves!!! See! Told you I have a problem! And although they say that admitting it is the first step to recovery, I am not ready to give up my chocolate chip, sugar or double chocolate chip cookies anytime soon!!

Does this Look Like the Beach to You?

Kyndi built a 'sandcastle' today in the dr's waiting room

Here's Oaklee's "Tham-Cathoh"

Kyndi's piano (She thought of this idea all on her own)

Oaklee's "Plan-o"

The best fun of all...

If you can't tell, this is the huge ol bucket full of blocks being dumped out, and Dayton is in the middle of this waterfall. - The blocks are foam so no injury occured in fact he indured this waterfall over and over again while the little girls laughed their guts out.

Like Mother like Daughter

I have very clear memories of my 3-ish year old self standing on the coffee table in our family room, watching myself in the huge ol mirror on the wall, whilst singing along at the top of my lungs to the Annie movie. I loved this. In fact I'm pretty sure there is a picture (or pictures) somewhere of me doing this very thing.

Those such pictures in fact may have a lot in common with these pictures:

This is Oaklee, singing at the top of her lungs to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, while dancing around on the chair. (and of course Gizmo likes to intrude)

ChatterBox Indeed

I previously informed the world of my proud moment when Dayton spoke his first word: mom. Love it. (Except that for the first week or two it was incredibly overused) .. Since then there is another word he uses even more often than 'mom': Hee-Oh. Definition is still unknown. He says this word all day long in a whiney voice. I cannot for the life of me figure out what it means - but once he starts Hee-oh-ing, there's no stop to it. Poor kid, I wish I understood.

With that confusing word of his, it got me thinking, are there other words he speaks with purpose that I haven't yet picked up on? Answer: yes, there are two. Awe! and Mbaw. Mbaw is "ball" You know when you have a cold and your m's and n's come out a little B or D-ish? Thats sorta the way Mbaw sounds... like he's trying to say mall with a cold, make sense?

As for Awe! - when said it is shouted in an all choppy-like and abrupt fashion. It's pretty funny. This apparently means hi. (or perhaps he's a bit more eloquent; hello how are you doing this lovely day?) We were sitting in the waiting room at a dr's office today and everytime a new person entered the room he'd shout Awe! And everytime he did the new person would respond "hi" back to him. He'd get a pleased grin and go about his business until the next new person arrived.
Apparently he does talk - we just don't know it. (Any insight on "Hee-Oh" would be grestly appreciated)

Mr Sandman

Over the past couple o' months I have had a plethora of Carzy dreams! Sadly I cannot remember them all now.. but here are a few of the craziest...

I was working as a detective, on assignment in Arizona, I was trying to locate a highly dangerous alien type species that looked similar to a squirt of pink toothpaste with eyes. As I Perused the streets on foot with my gone drawn searching for any sign of the creature, I passed by a quaint drugstore that had postcards in the window. Oh my goodness! They might have postcards that say "Welcome to Arizona"! I should get one and send it to Sam (my sister currently serving a mission in Arizona) She'd love that! I dropped the gun and entered the store. Who needs to rid the world of dangerous creatures, when there are postcards to be bought?

One night Oaklee had a nightmare and came to bed with me. She snuggled up to me and I rubbed her back. Next thing I know I've discovered a cat hair on her back that is an exact match to the cat of a murder victim. I had to spend hours and hours trying to prove her innocence and at the same time try to draw a conclusion as to why she would possibly have one of the victims cat hairs on her.

Last night I dreamt I had to be rushed to the hospital because a fly flew into my ear and was now circling around my brain and I could constantly hear it. The ER did not feel this was a high priority but I was all sorts of wigging out! Eventually the sound grew ear piercingly loud and I grabbed hold of my ear and pulled it outwards away from my face, widening the hole of my ear ever bigger and the fly simply flew out. Finally!
See? Crazy dreams! I told you!

Jamien Snarflatt

My baby brother left on his mission yesterday. For now he is at the MTC but will ultimately be serving in the Texas Houston South mission. If your next question is "English or Spanish?" Both are wrong. Mandarin Chinese.
I love my brother. We are 10 years apart so I'm not generally as close to him as to some of my other siblings. That actaully makes me sad. As I watched him walk into the MTC yesterday my heart was full. When did such a cute little boy grow up? In my mind, he's still 10.
In 2001 when I got married, I remember how stinking cute he was in his tux. I have apicture of him sitting on my lap, me in my wedding dress, him in his tux, and it is by far my favorite picture from my entire wedding. I remember when all was said and done he was upset he had to return his tux to the rental store. Cute. I love that boy.
I've called him Jamien since he was little. He wouldn't let anyone else call him that. I recently told him I;'d write to him as "Elder Snarflatt" He said "No" I said "who should I write to then?" "Jamien". (His real name is Jameson) (many people know him now as Jamie and growing up he was known at our house as Jamers)
He's grown into an amazing young man. And really, I will miss the brief conversations he and I have when I call my parents house to get ahold of my mom and he always answers. He's amazing and I love him.
(I'll get a picture of him posted as soon as I have a recent one)

Me Too!

A few days ago we were riding in the car and Tona fell asleep - It was so cute I took a picture.

Immediatly I heard a little voice say "me too" So here's that picture:

The Climber

So Captain Turkey Head has learned a new trick. It first started with him climbing onto Kyndi's play chairs and standing there while banging a stool around:

I got tired of repeatedly pulling him down so I tipped the chair over and moved it to deter him from the desire to climb. Mission Failed.

Yesterday I walked into the kitchen to find this:

Oh great. He'll be on the roof soon.

Kitchen Gadget Idol

The recent post of Oaklee strumming the rolling pin while singing, reminded me of another recent event at my house - Kitchen Gadget Idol.
Kyndi and Oaklee love to sing along to every song on the radio - this time they had microphones:

Her Dream Home?

Kyndi loves to draw. Lately she loves to draw houses. During recent freetimes at preschool she has drawn a whole slew of houses. Our house, our house with a rainbow over it. Our house with trees. Big houses, little houses. Rectangle houses, Square houses. This was today's house:

"A house with pants on the roof".

October Haunt

A Clown, A Dead Prom Queen, A Mummy, A Witch, A Devil and a Skunk. ...Oh and Cruella DeVille!

I made Tate's costume (mummy) and he was so impressed he kept telling all his friends that I made it all by myself. Oaklee was absolutely thrilled to have her face painted red. She loved it. Dayton loved his costume too. He usually hates hats and rips them off his head within seconds but loved the one for his costume, never tried to take it off even once. We had a lot of fun dressing up. ...They already all have ideas on what to be next year...
