Parade Leader...

We went to the annual Elementary School Halloween Parade - I got a total kick out of the kids' wheel-chair bound (male) principal.  (He's even got an apple in his hand - annd bright red lipstick!)

Love it!!

Month of Random Pics

This picture was from the summer of 2010 and I just recently happened upon it.
Tate made an origami Yoda - He was super proud of himself.
Jersi loves the new tire swing that daddy rigged up to the tree.
 "Talkin to daddy"

A visiting friend out on the Suburban

Jersi dropped something under Kyndi's desk
Telling me what a dog says...
Dayton and Daddy hanging out watchin football
Oaks and Daddy hangin out at nap time.
I was doing homework and went searching for the Littles.  I found them cleaning the bathroom.
One night I went in to check on the kiddos and make sure they were all snuggld in their blankets before I headed to bed.  I found Dayton sound asleep in this bin. (It was far too dark to get a decent picture dang it)

Completely Convinced

Dayton was looking through a Shopko ad and was SO excited when he found a picture of himself inside.

He is convinced this is him - and was sure to shw everyone in the house that he is in this "book"

Witches Spells

This is the Witches spells book I made...

I want to get a more fabulous ribbon for the bookmark but for now the gold one will have to do.

Who Are They??

Look at these little monsters that must have eaten my kids while shopping:
Please take note that the middle monster is wearing a sleeveless shirt, shorts and snow boots...

Peeky-Do!

(We always say "Peeky-do" at this house - cuz that's how Dayton has always said it)

Apparently Not a Flower

You know you do far too many crafts when your three year old boy calls a flower a "bow".
He was "reading" this book to me, telling me what each picture along the bottom of the page was.
When it came to this page, he read it in backwards order: "Shovel, Hat, Bucket, Sock, Bow" I couldn't argue with him.

Sharli's Plane

My sister Sharli was in New York. I was explaining to the Littles that she got there on an airplane. Dayton asked "which kind of plane?" So I googled plane images to show him examples...
Me: "See buddy, she probably was on a plane like this"
Oaklee: "Or maybe this one right here!"
Dayton, completely serious, and excited: "No! She's on this one right here! I can see her looking out the window!!"

Chocolate Donut

Jersi enjoys her a mini chocolate donut:

Homework Cheer Squad

I had a 6 page paper due... I had tried over and over to actually start doing the paper, but it was so overwhelming I couldn't think it through. Not even a little. Finally, on the day it was actually due, I finally started it. Once I finally got going it was a bit easier but it was still creating stress central... Here's what my assignment was looking like...

And here's my cheer squad as I accomplish the daunting task....

They sat in my room quietly watching their shows as I worked and crunched and crammed to get my paper written.  They were really good kids!
In the end I not only got 6 pages, I got 10 pages total! (and 100%) Woot!

A Muffin and a Noodle

...And since Tyson did so much posing, Kyndi and Dayton felt they ought to try it out too...

Crazy kids!

The REAL Tyson

After doing Pumpkins, Tyson started posing for the camera... (sadly, the camera was having issues and none of these are very clear.)

...And now you've seen the true Tyson (the not-so-shy Tyson)
