A Man and His Horse

Kamron has never ridden a horse, (that he remembers - he's been told he rode one when younger but has no memory of it) so when his friend (Kurt) spontaneously offered him a chance to ride he jumped right on it!
After a few brief lessons of what to do and how, he was off! He rode around and around the arena until he wore the poor old horse out!

I Just Love It!

I know I've mentioned Kyndi's fantastic hair that scrunches into utter cuteness - but it's getting even curlier when we scrunch it - I love it!  Look how stinkin' cute it is today:

(I've just gotta find some major light weight mousse or spray that keeps it this curly all day.  The mousse I have is too heavy for it - and hairspray only makes it last a couple hours...  Any suggestions?)

In other news, I have a Tate that refuses to get his hair cut.  He is so good lookin with shorter hair - but he prefers it a long-messy style.  I took pictures of his hair this morning too...

And here's some pictures of Oaklee's recent hair that Morrissa did for her. (Morrissa loves doing hair and make-up on the girls)

That's Pretty Heavy

Kamron and I were texting eachother back and forth this morning, I got a text back and Dayton piped up: "Sheesh, that's like 30 pounds of letters mom!"

Snape Would Be So Proud...

Look at the potions I made...

I found various bottles (mostly food or seasoning type things) at the grocery store... made the labels - printed them on white paper and then dyed them with a coffee-something or other concoction (boiled some dollar store instant coffee and painted the the labels and then baked them for a few mintes to set it in) - and then gled them to each bottle.  I have 14 potions in all. A few still need their caps painted black, and a few still have some of the original labels removed.
My favorite is the polyjuice potion.  (it's habenero hot sace, thick and gooey). Now I've gotta make that Spell Book that I am so fond of, AND find a spot to put all this fabulous new decor! Love it.

Just A Few Crumbs...

Last week we traveled up north (Brigham City) to a funeral (Kamron's brother-in-law, Corrtney) - we left the school age kids all in school, and took the littles and Jersi with us. I went prepared with snacks galore and it is a good thing I did.  A 90 minute drive, a funeral for a couple hours and another 90 minute drive = cranky, loud, ornery, grouchy, kids (especially Jersi). I just kept handing them snacks and they just kept snarfing them down... at least that's what I thought - until I went to vacuum the crumbs from my car the next day...

Oh. My. Goodness. This was all under Dayton's carseat! I couldn't believe it.

Hairy Belly Syndrome?

"Mom, I can feel there's hair in my belly and it hurts"
~Oaklee (I think this was her attempt at getting outta bed) (Kamron couldn't even keep a straight face when she said this)

Bow Head

Oaklee did this to herself:

And then requested I take pictures and send them to Sharli.

Simply Gorgeous

4-Wheeler Pile On

We cleaned our garage out the other day. Kamron was ready to pull the 4-wheeler back inside, every Little begged for a ride..

What a cute dad!

1st Day of School Re-do

So, the first day of school was a fiasco for me and I was not able to take my kiddos to school. I am certain I posted about this previously, so I will not re-hash - BUT I was horribly sad over it.  Today my neighbor put these pictures on facebook that she was thoughtful enough to take for me on Kyndi's first day of First grade!
This is Kyndi with her friend Elizabeth, and her little sister Chloe.

Thanks for the Clarification!

We were looking at my iFly pics. I made a comment to Kamron, something to the effect of "I don't have that chubby of cheeks! Tell me I don't have chubby cheeks!"
Dayton: You do have chubby cheeks!
Me: No I don't!
Dayton: I mean yours bum cheeks are chubby.

What?!?!?!?!?!?!

Sometimes Silence is Good

Sometimes Silence from the Littles can be good. Like yesterday, for instance, I went to find them and discovered them playing so cutely together...

However, that was short lived. Later Dayton shoved a stack of paper cups down the toilet, Oaklee wet her pants all over the carpet.. I found Dayton crawling in the fridge ("Jerzille wanted a cheese"). Oaklee had opened all the dog treats and dumped them inside the fence... Dayton is covered in pen ink all over his belly... Oaklee has toothpaste all over her hair...Jersi spilled red punch from my water bottle all over the clean laundry I had just folded... These were all separate instances throughout the day - I'd be cleaning up one disaster only to find another had occurred whilst I was busy...  And to top it all off - Dayton got up from his nap (apparently still sleeping), pulled down his pants and took aim at my garbage can...(at least it's the garbage can and not the dryer or something equally bizarre) Unfortunately for me it hit the end of a pringles can sticking out of the trash and ran and splashed all over the floor and wall and him.
Can I by chance have a better day today please??

Flood

Here we go - lets flood you with a randomness of photos...

I think this must've been taken in July at Dayton and Anna's birthday party at grandma's house... (Tate and Anna)
How she sleeps..
This is what it looks like when your 3 year old brother pours water all over you head for some crazy random reason...
Dayton being, well, Dayton
Oaklee being Oaklee...

Dayton's funny sleeping habits...
And more sleeping habits...

Absolutely Thrilled

Jack of All Trades - Football Style

Last night in Tyson's Sophomore football game he played Defensive Back, Line Backer, Wide Receiver, Whatever position it's called when you play on special teams, Running Back, and Quarterback!  Woot! Go Tyson!  They played against Juab Highschool - and they won 46 to 0.  This is fantastic for them since they've struggled to even score this season!
Since I reported Tyson's 1st game and his disappointing lack of play-time, they've slowly been playing him more and more each game.  Last night He played the entire game!  It was awesome! He made some fantastic plays, and even some funny ones. (Kamron laughed when Tyson blocked a kid, knocking him on his butt and when the kid got back to his feet, he pushed him over again)
Towards the end of the game they had all their 2nd string players out there except Tyson and one other kid got to stay in.  This is when the coaches put Tyson in various positions - he was running back twice (once carrying the ball and once faking he had the ball) and he was quarterback for the last play of the game.  Lots of fun to watch, and his dad couldn't be more proud!  (And dang-it! where was my camera when I needed it?!)

Can't Say I Didn't Warn Him!

The Littles quite oftenly can be found jumping on my bed.  i HATE this! Why? Numerous reasons - my sheets, blankets and pillows all get discombobulated... papers and other such items I often place on my bed get all smashed, destroyed, ripped or lost...  There are frequent id-air as well as landing collisions... the list keeps going... Anyway, it is a daily ritual that I remind them to stop jumping on the bed. They seem to never listen.  On this particular day Dayton was very hyper in his jump-a-thon - that is, until he fell between the mattress and the headboard.  I was hoping for a total teaching (er, "i told you so") moment - but instead I was met with fits of laughter. Crazy kid! (and super cute).

Where's Waldo - Jersi Style

Jersi can very oftenly be found in odd places around the house.  She is a climber and nothing stops her from doing what she wants.
Locations I have recently found her...

In a random basket...
On top of Kyndi's desk, just hanging out.

All by hersef in the Littles' room coloring in a coloring book...

On top of the love sac - poking Daytob who was sound asleep...
On the top part of the couch...
And yesterday I was putting laundry away, went in search of the one year old - found her half-way down the block crawling as fast as she could! What?! According to Dayton, "She ask me to let her outside duh door!"

Boogie Boogie

Jersi loves to "boogie".  Anytime she's standing holding onto something and music comes on, she'll let go and dance her little guts out - arms and all.  This also works with no music just by saying "boogie boogie" - she'll stand right in place and show us her best boogie moves. So stinking cute!
These ictures don't show it real well, but they're cute nonetheless...

And what exactly does Oaklee think she's getting away with here??

Also, Jersi walks in secret. She'll be standing at my door frame and suddenly walk to the Love Sac. Or from the foot of my bed to the rocking chair... but if someone asks her to walk, no-can-do. Little bratsky.
