Little Leggings

I love her legs

And her shoes
Her cute snuggled-butt
 Her naked midgetness

 And the faces she makes

Football Field

Over the weekend we went down to the highschool football field - the kids (and dad) all got involved in a football game. Pay attention to Dayton's participation in all of this..

Dayton soon announced, "I wanna Hike!!"  So he did. He'd say "hike" and then throw it to someone.

Here he had just 'hiked' it to Kamron...  And this shows Kam's good moves!! (While everyone else is just standing there)
And here he is running for a touchdown. (I had to stand in the endzone so he knew where to run, cuz he kept running in circles)
And this thing is pretty much heaven-sent...

She'll generally stay happily in it for about an hour...

*Also - although I have no pictures of it - Kyndi was very good at throwing the ball at just the right height and angle so that even Tyson couldn't block it, and it got to Kamron everytime. Pretty impressive for a 5 year old girl.

Best Site Ever!

Here is the best site in the world - and some other looks I love...

Too cute for words, right?

The Froofinagle

Kamron is back in Wyoming this week. I hate him being gone - but it's so good for him to be able to get away for a while. It's also very healthy as it takes him out of his comfort zone to hafta stay with 3 or 4 other guys for the week.  It is also very good for him - cuz many nights they find themselves at the rec center playing racquetball or pool or ping pong or working out.
I absolutely love that man - life just isn't the same around here without him. For instance- I never hafta put the toilet seat down, the toilet paper is always faced the way I want it, there are no dirty socks to pick up from the floor, and I get to choose what to watch on tv. ha ha
But I've made a list of all the reasons I'd rather have him home. There may be many things on this list that don't make sense, as they are "inside jokes" if you will. BUT since this list is mostly for his benefit, I will list them anyways. (this list also contains things that may not be very recent, but he'll know what they are)
And with no further ado - here you go Mr Froofinagle!
(in no particular order...) (Prepare for a very long list)

A Little Something on Your Face

This is what my kidlets look like after just one chocolate cookie in the car...
(Dayton's is hard to see, and his hands are chocolate too)

School Lately

This is how we've been spending our time at school lately.

That Ladies and Gents, is Jersi sitting on one of the hideous couches at school.  She has extended her constant crying to include school too. So I spend most of my class-time walking the halls with her and holding her on the couch so as not to interrupt my class...blah. This is not working out so well. But I really hate the idea of leaving her home for everyone else to deal with her neverending tears. Grrr. The little stinker.

Simple Things Make All the Difference

So today I had to trek to the Social Security Office...a task I've been dreading, especially with all the little kids with me. Down here in Provo it's a small little building and the inside is pretty cramped with numerous people and chairs.  Today I finally had to force myself to go so I headed there with Kyndi, the Littles and Jersi Pie...
As we were walking along the sidewalk toward the door, there was some punk kid (hair in a mohawk, half was bleach-blond and half black) sitting on the curb smoking with a girl... He saw us and jumped right up "Let me help you with the door" and he did, and then he said "Marie, will you hurry and grab that next door for her?"  WOW. I was so impressed - his mother must've taught him well.
Next we were sitting in the overly-cramped waiting area for a good half hour.  After about 20 minutes my kids started getting overly bored and a wee bit whiney. Okay truth: Jersi was crying, Dayton was being an ornery two year old, Kyndi was complaining asking how soon we could leave and Oaks kept jumping around crashing into people, laying on the floor etc.  I kept my composure and kept talking to all of them trying to maintain some kind of decorum... Soon a lady stood from her seat and came over to us, sat down next to Oaklee and said to her, "I know a game we can play with our hands, wanna try?"  WOW.  She saw me as a mother in distress and came to the rescue. She ended up helping immensely as she had all three kids mesmerized and I was able to attend to Jersi.
It was finally our turn and somehow we were lucky enough to be called into the office  where there was space to move, and seats, rather than standing at the one of the customer service windows in a cramped space with all my kiddos.  WOW. Don't know how we lucked out. It's not that they were just taking pity on us either, we got a number from a machine as we entered and our number just happened to be called at the right time. That was a stress saver for me for sure.
The paperwork and all was painless - the worker-guy gave each kid a sucker which kept them entertained for the 5 minutes he took to process my paperwork through. And then he escorted us to the side employee door (because he knew it was closer to the parking lot) and then held the door for us. WOW.  Those workers are probably overwhelmed with busy-ness. One look at the waiting area will tell you that. And this man took time out of his day to not only allow us to exit out a more convenient door, but also took the time to walk there with us just to hold it open. I was impressed. Those people today did something very minor that made a huge impact on my day.

The Peanut

This is how I finally got her to sleep this morning.

All curled up in her boppy-pillow. I sure do like that girl when she's sleeping!!

Park in the Dark

Kamron and Tyson share the same crowd-anxiety issues. They go with us to the park often but are rarely found in the fountains themselves because there are too many other people there.  Strike that, Kamron many times lately will venture to the edge and dip his feet in, Tyson on the other hand has reached the age of "too coolness" and has never joined us in the fountain. (Yes, I am in the fountain with the kids nearly every time we go) Well Saturday night after making yet another batch of caramel corn (that 4th batch in about a week) (And kamron is nice enough to make it everytime!) we headed to the park around 8:30 to play in the fountains in the dark.  The park was vacated - and this was enough encouragement to get Tyson in the fountains and Kamron was chasing kids through them!   So much fun to watch!  I didn't go in this time, I took pictures instead. Plus the last two times I've been there, Kamron has picked me up and soaked me in the fountains - so I stayed back this time..
Here are some rare pics of all of them in the fountain at once:

Let it be noted that everytime I attempted a picture, one of the littles would suddenly run out of the fountains, so blurry as they are, I was lucky to get these ones taken. (and a few of them look like they're missing a body or too, but they are actually behind someone else.)
Here's the big guy playing all by himself:
And here's the Pumpkin Pie who sat and watched from her carseat:

Dayton Shared

Dayton shared his hat with his best friend - and was overly-delighted to see her wearing it!

And Again

Oaklee...
Rainbow-ish dress, Black leopard print sweat pants. Beautiful. It's art, really.

Little Black Dress

This is Jersi's Little Black Dress.

Love it!

You're Hired!

This is a picture of my Aunt Jenny holding Jersi.

The picture is a little blurry on here - but you can plainly see the look of love of Jenny's face even with the look of pure screaming on Jersi's.  Kamron told me yesterday that with all Jersi's screaming and crying she does, we really ought to hire Jenny to take her. Jenny is so patient with babies - it doesn't matter how much they scream she still has the same love in her eyes as she patiently holds and admires them. We love Jenny!

Don Don Don Dons

Last week's football agme was against Springville, the other undefeated team in the conference - Sadly Springville is still undefeated as the final score was 26 to 6 or somthing like that.  But Tyson was still his amazing self - with numerous tackles.
Today's game was their school rivals - Maple Mountain.  Tyson sacked the QB causing him to fumble... He had many other sacs besides that, and many tackles too of course..he also blocked a PAT and almost caught an interception.  Woohoo! At one moment in the game though, my heart stopped for a brief moment when a play ended and Tyson was clearly hurt. He was standing but kept doubling over like he was in pain - but he stayed in. He apparently got hit hard in the ribs and it still hurts.
The other unfortunate thing of this game - they lost. Dang it. The defense did pretty well - its just that the offense threw an interception and had two fumbles. Not good.  Ending score 28 to 34 for Maple Mountain.
One of Tyson's coaches approached Kamron today and told him how good Tyson is at football and how impressed they are with him. "He really tears it up out there!"  Kamron was so proud. Especially since this is the first year Tyson has ever even attempted to play football.

Everyday Needs

Many people in the world upon waking up in the morning need breakfast right away, some need coffee or a donut, some need to use the bathroom. Dayton needs 2 things immediately upon waking,

He wants his hat and shoes on right away - before breakfast or anything else. It's a must.
And then of course he always needs this too:

What kind of Brutus needs a blankie everywhere he goes?
This kind of Brutus does.

Don't you just wanna eat him up??

Oscar Smiles

The screamer took some time out from her crying today and smiled at me! Actually, I was holding her this morning and talking to her and she looked up at me and gave me a big ol' smile. I couldn't help it, her smile caused tears. After all her grouchiness it was good to finally have her smile at me.

Kyndi's Influence

She must have gotten her fashion sense (for a day of 90+ degree weather..) from Kyndi..
(Gotta love the filthy face too, right?)

Jersi Pie

I special ordered this kid to have her daddy's dark skin, her daddy's dark hair, the natural curly-ness that runs in both our families, and my brown eyes... I think the baby factory mixed up my order. Pretty sure none of those will be the case. oh well. She's beautiful.
