Plethora

Jersi Chunky cheeks!
Jersi Big Yawn!
Oaks and Tona playing pass with a football (behind them you can see Kamron and Tyson (pictured here as a blurr of red on the left) playing basketball)
Any of my family remember playing games in this pose?

Typical Oaklee pose
Finally a picture of Morrissa holding Jersi (there you go Granny!) Kyndi and Jersi This is what one looks like after a long day in the sun watching Tyson's football game all during one's naptime. (This is the floor at the top of my stairs)
Sportin her new pajamas from Grandma Jonan and Kyndi's hat. How stylish is she? (And oh what a pose) 80's Attire - so cute on her!! (All her new clothes are 80's - I love it!!)

Poor Girl

Kyndi suffers from something her mother always did as a kid. Nose bleeds. She came into my scrapbook room the other day holding a small tissue to her nose telling me her nose was bleeding. I told her to get into the bathroom and I'd be there in a minute.
Sadly, one thing lead to another and time got away from me far too quickly. By the time I got to the bathroom, Kyndi was gone but blood was everywhere.. counter, floor, cupboards, mirror...oh lovely. Where was Kyndi? "I think she's downstairs" And there she was, in the downstairs bathroom - covered head to toe in blood - seriously, face, arms, neck, clothes, foot and hair... and this bathroom was every bit as decorated as the other. How on earth does this happen?
But don't worry my friends, Oaklee was right there to lend a hand.
What a good little helper.

A Thief in our Midst

Did I ever post previously about my missing creamie popsicles? How about my missing candy bars? Kamron's missing Licorice? My empty box of crackers? No? Well I have now. All these things have been thieved from our bedroom somehow...
Enter the thief...
Last night at 2 AM my door creaked open and there I spied Oaklee crossing my room to the mini-fridge. She picked up the licorice pack on top, found it empty and proceeded to open the fridge door. "Oaklee, no" She jumped and scampered back out the door... only to return moments later claiming to be "scared of the dark" and can she please sleep on my "sack" (the love sac in my room)
Interesting. Perhaps there have been many nightly treat sneaking visits to my room... Maybe I should put an alarm on my door in the night...
Little Thief!

Seeing Stars

Kyndi loves doing fancy things to her hair. This is the latest:
Wait for it...
(She has created a ponytail andput the rubberband around the star to hold it in)

Dayton has a weird ear issue. He loves to stick anything and everything in his ear. The phrase "get that out of your ear" is a common one around here. Seriously, rubber bands, garbage pieces, marbles, pennies...etc. But this takes the cake...

That ladies and gentlemen is a 2 year old with magic wands in each ear.

Bed Bug

Dayton was having a very serious issue going to bed tonight... Here's how I convinced him to get in...
Look how cute he is gently rubbing her head and mooching her.
Seriously, she is his new obsession - forget his ball obsession, she has totally taken over his heart. I love it.

*Check out his Pajamas Mom*

Gracias!

With many many thanks to my wonderful mother, I got alot accomplished today. My mom did a deep scouring of my kitchen. I am far too ashamed to admit to the total distasterness that is my kitchen. The kids alternate turns on who is in charge of the kitchen - and as most (all?) kids do, they do the least amount of work they can possibly get away with - and I've just haven't done great on following through. So bless my mother's heart, she deep cleaned my kitchen for me.
She also kept my 4 youngest occupied which was most valueable to me. Jersi is a screamer and a crier any time she's not being held, so this has been a huge stress on me. In walks my mother and Jersi was a perfect angel. What?? But grateful for that nonetheless.
Whilst she was occupying my children I was able to get 4, count them 4 loads of laundry done, the whole laundry room cleaned and organized and mopped. My scrapbook room totally cleaned and organized, AND I got to take a shower!!! It was a wonderful day!! And it's always good to visit ith my mom!

Octopus

I seriously want one of these...

He's made from socks!!

Not Quite What You May Think

Last night a fellow classmate, upon learning I have 8 children in my home, responded with "Wow, you're amazing!" Hm. Not so much. It may seem amazing that I have 8 kids, and most days I may even look all put together. But I have a few confessions to make.
*Most days are "Fly by the seat of our pants" days.
*My room looks like a whirlwind of sorts came flying through, twice.
*Laundry? No idea when that'll get done.
*Patience sometimes runs a little short
*My kitchen has far too many flies claiming it as home.
*Prior to last night I maybe had 2 hours of sleep over the course of the past 3 nights.
*I get frustrated with my innocent little 4 week old when she won't let me sleep, or get anything done because she needs to be held constantly.
*I'm not entirely sure when I last showered.
*I think I've barely spoken to Morrissa in the past week, because I've just been so chaotically overwhelmed.
*The simplest things overwhelm me. Even making a needed phone call to pay a bill stresses me out.
*The semester started 2 weeks ago (ish) and I'm already behind on my homework.
*If I get all three youngest kids dressed in clean clothes each day, it's a miracle.
*It's been a rough week.
*And where on earth is my Drivers Liscense? (This is stressing me completely out)
Yesterday I finally had a total broken down moment. I sat on my bed after not having slept all night, thinking of everything I needed to get done for the day and I just cried. Dayton found me crying, got a very worried look on his face, crawled up next to me, put his arm around me and said, "All better!" Too cute. Then last night I returned home from school around 10 to find Kamron waiting up for me. He offered to take Jersi for a while so I could sleep. I'm not sure how long she lasted that way, probably a couple hours - but it was perfect and I am so grateful to Kamron for seeing what I needed and acting on it. I texted him this morning and thanked him. He responded by telling me that he'd do it for me every night if I'd like. Oh Thanks Kamron. I love you.
See, I may not be as put together as I seem - or anywhere close to amazing - but I have wonderful family that jumps in when I need them.

SIDENOTE: I love my Mom. As I was typing this up this morning she called and volunteered to drive all the way down here to help me out for a couple hours. To my knowledge she had no clue how rough my week has been - but somehow she knew I needed her. See, I have wonderful family. (And I love them) (Thank you mom!)

A Notebook and A Uniform

Jersi has a brand new cousin (as do all of my kids, obviously). His name is Ledger. He is 3 weeks younger and she look huge in comparison! They were born at the same birth weight - but she's apparently growing way too fast!! Here's some pictures of the cuties together.. (Beware, she was ornery and crying the whole time with hands flying and lots of screaming - and he just stayed totally mellow)

In the end she just turned to him and tried suckling his face. pretty funny.

Confession # 34768

I love baby feet.
Jersi has my long skinny feet - but she definitely has her dad's crazy toes.

Park Part Dos

Again at the park. I'm certain we'll be at the park many times - I'll try not to take so many pictures all the time. This time we had Tate with us too (And Kamron!) (The oldest kids were all gone elsewhere) So here is the fun we had:

Kam hanging out with the kiddos and the steps they decided were far too fun to pass up.

I love the way this Lil Dude runs!
Oaks and Kyndi Tate and Oaks Runnin' again And again...
Tate
Bean and Muffin
Tona
He's so stinkin cute I cannot resist taking pictures of him!
I swear, this kid never stops running
Oaks and Tona doing some elephant crawl of sorts...
There were numerous times Dayton took a drink from the fountains - no matter how low or high they currently were. I one time even caught him licking at one that was barely bubbling above ground. Sadly, no pictures of said events.

Gumby

This can't be comfortable, can it??
And yet this is the way she was after a venture in the car. Sound asleep. I try now to always tuck a blanket between her head and the seat so she can not look so gumby-ish.

Red & Blue

Look at what I have:
Those my friends are tickets to 3 of the 6 BYU home games. One of which was this past week. BYU vs Washington. It was fantastic! I of course too Kamron to the game - although he votes for anyone who is playing BYU. We also brought Tyson and his cousin Daniel to the game. Look who else was there...
Yep, Jersi came too - but wasn't allowed to wear BYU colors... I really wanted to buy her this outfit which I found at Wal*mart a few days ago..
But I'm pretty certain Kamron would be none too pleased.Although - somehow Kamron wore blue to the game - I think it was on accident.
Jersi did really well at the game - I actually was quite impressed. Here's Jersi watching her dad with some serious intensity
Now I do have a confession to make. I woke up that morning and purposely wore Red. What?!? Yep. Worry not, it was not for a change of view in my college football teams.. It was because Tyson had a game (and Spanish Fork is red). They played the Salem Skyhawks and won 24 to 8 - woohoo!!!
I do hafta mention - there was a time in the game that Tyson ran right over and got an excellent tackle - on a player that didn't have the ball. I think it was Kamron's favorite play of the game. Tyson said it was because his coach didn't want that player getting anymore yardage for the team so he instructed Tyson to "Take him down" Tyson took it literally. His coach later said , "Not like that" Hilarious!

I'm a Rockstar

"Look mom, I'm a rockstar" ~Oaklee
(She made her baby a "rockstar headband" out of stickers)
