July 4th, er 2nd..

Provo did their big firework shebang on July 2nd this year (no clue why) (I think Kamron was severely upset by this...)  As always we went to the Bean Museum on BYU campus to watch the fireworks. Whilst there, a group of people came and invited Kamron and Carey (Kam's brother in-law) and the kiddos to play football with them... The older boys, Tyson, Jace, Daniel, and Chandler (Tyson's cousins) were on a walk (undoubtedly checking out the girls) so they didn't participate in the football extravaganza.  Krista (Kam's sister) and I found it humorous watching the adult men playing football. It was fun. And in the end, our team won. Fabulous.
The fireworks were great as usual. Jersi didn't even care that they were happening. The fireworks were at a weird angle and we ended up having a tree in our view, so we sat on the car to watch...

On the actual 4th, there was only one city (Lehi) in the whole county doing fireworks, so we opted out. BUT with the new firework allowances we had a soectacular viewing of fireworks all around us, just from our own front porch!
I don't know if I told you before but our neighbor (jessica) had a baby the same day we had Jersi (and even in the same hospital) it was crazy. Anyways, Jessica and Zoe came and hung out on our porch as well. Her husband is a police officer and works many hours so she comes to visit often lately.  Zoe is so stinkin cute! She's 10 months old and has about as much hair as Kyndi! She's adorable. Anywho... fireworks on Saturday in Provo, and fireworks from our porch on Monday. Great low-key weekend.

Happy 4th all! And 2nd!

Oh, we also went to the Provo Freedom Festival and got to pet this lovely number.

Its twice the size shown here and it actually feels very soft. weird. Dayton and Oaklee even touched it. (Tate, Kyndi and Morrissa were not in attendance...)

And the kiddos enjoyed a snowcone - Jersi enjoyed the wrapper afterwards...
