For a while now Jersi, while crying, has said "momma momma" but only while crying. Until today.. She crawled to the top of the stairs and I heard "Mam? Mam?" I came around the corner and she squealed with delight. She finally knows my name!
A few other tricks she's recently grasped...
She says 'Ewmm' ('ew') when I change her diaper and "wee" when she swings
She can do sign language for "cookie" (apparently she is rather partial to cookies since this is the only sign language she uses)
If she's crawled away from where I am I'll call out to her and she respond "Huh?"
And she knocks on doors that are closed and preventing her from getting to where she wants to be
