So I had the craziest dream the other night... I dreamt that I was at ColdStone getting Chocolate fudge ice cream with peanut butter mixed in. (My favorite Baskin Robbins flavor by the way) I then decided to add some extras to my sundae and requested lettuce, tomatoes and carrots. (yum) all topped with extra hot fudge. Doesn't that sound delicious??
Now skip to last ight - I dreamt this baby's head was poking through the right side of my belly and everyone kept touching her soft spot and I was getting oh-so mad!!! weird.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game
Morrissa decided she wants to play softball this year. For her birthday she even got a new pink mitt!! Here are pictures of Moe's First Softball (practice) Game... Somehow we have no pictures of Morrissa, but there are some enjoyable ones of the two littles playing with bugs... and one of Tona watching Morrissa through the fence... (No worries, she has many many real games coming up so I am certain I will get pictures of her at a later date...)
Look at These Photographs, Everytime I Do it Makes Me Laugh

Looked Like a Purple People Eater to Me
It all started with a wee bit of sun last monday (the 19th) - somehow I got way more sun than I had intended... within 24 hours my legs were so fried they'd cramp up if I put any weight on them. It was horribly painful. Within 48 hours they had turned purple. They looked severely bruised, or like they needed a serious amputation. Miserable I'll tell you. And completely hideous. Kamron was so sweet he told me "you better stay out of the sun all summer cuz if your face ends up looking like that, there's gonna be a serious problem!" Isn't he nice?
Soon after the purple came, my legs started to swell up - apparently the mix of sun and pregnancy created a toxic-like reaction in my skin. y dr put me on meds to take the swelling down.
Wow - I've never experienced such pain froma sunburn. I will definitely invest in some SPF 5,000 sunscreen!!

Bugs LIfe
Kyndi and Oaks love finding bugs. For some entirely odd reason I always feel bad for the poor little critters that get picked up from one spot and haphazardly left in another. Seriously, it makes me feel so bad for them. (I've never denied being totally weird)
Last week we took a trip to the Dollar Store and bought two containers that could be used as bug-houses... $1.00 each and they are set!
The girls immediately filled their jars with dirt and grass, twigs and rocks and other such exciting things... then came the bugs! Kyndi caught 27 laybugs and 4 'Rolly-pollys' (Potato bugs) - Oaks has 8 ladybugs, a few rolly pollys, an ant and a centipede. They've spent hours on end entertained by these bugs! Oaklee even insists on sleeping with her bug jar!
Best $2 I ever spent! (And all the bugs still appear to be alive and well)
Oh What Do You Do in the Summertime?
Kyndi and I spend lot of time finding creatures in the clouds. Kyndi gets real inventive with what she can see. "An Angel fish with freakin huge lips!!" "A dragon skateboarding on a mountain!!" "A Mouse running across the road!!" Oaklee was all confused over what on earth we were looking at. Once she finally understood we were looking at cloud shapes she saw all kinds of hilarious things. "Little Dude eating a sandwich" "Oakee coloring a picture of babies" Clouds are fun.

Cleaning Lady
So we hired a new cleaning lady… Her name is Oaklee. Actually, I switched up the chores around the house which left the hallway untouched so I assigned it to Oaklee and Dayton – and they clean it far better than anyone else, I swear it!! They’re so stinkin cute too! They loved doing it. (We’ll see how long that will last) They both did so well picking up the toys and garbage.. (the two of them love getting a Walmart bag and filling it with garbage). I told them both they did great, and when I came back to the hall a few minutes later, I found that Oaklee had pulled out the vacuum and was plugging it in. What a good girl! A few minutes later I heard her and Tona giggling and I found her vacuuming their hair. They’re just so cute and they did a fabulous job! They even came and got a wipe from me to wash the walls with. Fabulous!!
Fun in the Sun
Here's a picture display of the fun we had yesterday...
What's wrong, can't see who that is clear up in that tree?
Is this better? (Oaklee has learned to climb the tree all by herself... she goes up far too high and then can't get down)

Kyndi's monkey skills
Dayton loves the slide!! He constantly climbs the mini ladder and goes down, he almost always gets stuck at the bottom and can't figure out how to get off.
End of the World
Kyndi recently had to go get her kindergarten shots done. We went to the dr right after her preschool one day - she didn't even know we were going for her shots...cuz we were taking Dayton in for his too... All at once it dawns on her that we might be there for her shots and she starts getting panicky.
The nurse simply placed the blood pressure cuff on Kyndi's arm and you'd think it was the end of the world!! She freaked out and started screaming. She was in full out panic - like the thing was gonna attack her! I held her hand and tried calming her down (still didn't work so well)
Next they pricked her finger to check her Iron. She wouldn't hold still - so they couldn't even get ahold of her finger. Sheesh.
Then came the shots... Oh dear. You'd think she was dying. She got four shots and with each one the shrieks were more dramatic than the last. It was quite hilarious - and totally embarassing at the same time. (Dayton didn't even flinch for his shots)
It gets better... for the next several (like 4) days she was so overly dramatic about how much pain she was in. She was sure she could no longer walk. She complained every time she thought about it. She even (on day 3) told me she doesn't think she could go to school that day because her legs might not survive it.
I finally told her, "I called the Dr - he said your legs shouldn't be hurting this bad and they might need to give you another shot to take the pain out of your legs." Wouldn't you know it, she was miraculously healed!! What a drama queen!
*Everytime since then that I've gone for check ups at the dr, when they put the blood pressure cuff on me, Oaklee immediatly runs up to hold my hand - she witnessed Kyndi's total agony with the thing and now believes it's scary for me to have the cuff on.
A Hairy Story
Dayton has been bald most of his life - and now that he has hair (and tons of it) it is all over the place and completely outta control like Kyndi's. It was getting a tad too long and frizzled so I gace him a haircut. He loved it! Especially when I used the clippers around his ears - he wanted me to keep going. He's super handsome now - but unfortuanately, everytime he gets outta bed, his hair is still wild and unruly. Poor kid.
My dad thinks I should shave his head. I don't know about that idea...
But here are some pictures of his haircut (I didn't even think of doing a before shot - duh!) (He just kept posing so I just kept taking pictures)
Morning Routine
This has become a frequent morning routine for us. After breakfast, the three littles end up in my bed snuggling with me. I'm usually doing homework - or just too worn out to do anything major productive - so this is where we hang out. It's fun and stinkin cute - but sometimes it gets squishy and they fight over who gets what pillow and who has more blanket than who and on and on, but I still love it! And aren't they just stinkin cute?????
Oak-A-Dilly
Oaklee has a new phrase of choice.. "You got burned to the edge!"
For example.. Today in the car she tells me that she saw a tractor and I didn't - then she followed up with "Ha! You got burned to the edge!" It's so hilarious to hear her say it! I laugh everytime!

Magnus Crane
My cute cousin Jake and his wife Ann Marie had a new baby early Easter morning. His name is Magnus Crane and he's pretty cute!!
Grandpa's Hunt
Easter afternoon we headed to my parent's house for dinner and a fun little hunt. My dad has all too much fun hiding things at Easter. This year he hid little baggies of treats. Each child's baggies were tied with a different color ribbon so that they knew whose were whose... Fun. My dad however gives out way too many hints! Perhaps they didn't want it to be a ten hour affair... but still far too many hints...
Now let me tell you a story of when I was little (and not so little too, - like 15) - my dad would hide our eggs and I always struggled the most at finding them. I was much like Morrissa. I really sucked at looking for eggs! They'd even hide them easy sometimes and I'd still struggle. My parents didn't hesitate a second in telling my children what a lovely egg hunter I am! - Apparently my dad thought it'd be a hilarious idea to hide something for me to find this year... So my chocolate bunny (that he made me) (He made everyone some chocolate bunnies, and Kam and I got big chocolate bunnies) - He hid both mine and Kamron's bunnies from us. They joked that mine was easy and i'd never find it. And for Kamron's he told him "Good Luck". I searched for like 10 minutes and then Kamron found mine, and thinking it was probably his, he pulled it out and it was mine! - Fortunate for me I was standing there and he couldn't re-hide it in time. Woo-hoo my hunt was over. BUT in my defense, I did find Kamron's before he did! (It was inside the surround-sound speaker in the wall)
What a fun day!
Oh - side note: My grandma (Stella) showed up at my parents house and Oaklee shouted "Mom, Tella's here!" Super cute!
Sorry no pictures from my mom's house.

The Hunt
The Easter Egg hunt in our house Easter morning... that was a delight! Whomever invented hunting for hidden eggs for Easter ought to receive an award! It can be so entertaining!! - Morrissa wanders around continuously like it'll fall from the sky..She struggles...she reminds me alot of me when I was little...more on that later..(in another post)
Tyson somehow was the last to find his, he had one left to find and I think he just gave up or something.. he kept sitting there analyzing everything "you said it can't be over there, you said it's not over there, so it must be nowhere." He repeated this 14.5 Thousand times!! It was funny. (His egg was simply in the carseat in the famliy room, beneath the cover that was sitting on top of it. Both Morrissa and Tate had already found it... Tyson checked that spot twice and somehow never even saw it.)
Oaklee was so fun. She was thrilled with her easter basket and for a while had no desire to go find her eggs (which were mostly scattered on the floor) She did finally hunt for eggs and she was so cute finding them.
Kyndi and Tate did well hunting for eggs, wait, strike that, Kyndi had a difficult time finding hers that were all out in plain sight, and Tate had a rough time staying focused on what he was actually doing... hilarious. In his defense however, he was the first to find all his eggs.
Dayton finally woke up (we let him sleep so he wouldn't be "grachy") and the first thing Oaks did is hand him his basket and say, "Here's your trick-or-treats" (Later she told me "I wanna go to Santa's house" - I think she was a wee bit confused)...
Dayton was OBSESSED with his Easter basket (and still is) that is shaped like a basketball... He thought it was his very own purse and filled it up with everything he could find. He wouldn't let go of it. He even took it to naptime with him. He was so proud of it.
It was a blast - and took almost two hours for the kids to find 8 eggs each. Crazy! (I'll be honest, by the end Kamron and I were getting frustrated that the final eggs were still being searched for)

I sadly didn't get many Easter Pictures... I was too thrilled watching the commotion that was the hunt. (trust me, with 6 kids, it is a commotion!)
