So... a few weeks ago now, Kyndi came to me with a huge ol' glob of who knows what in her hair. 'Mom, what is this?" It was smooshed right against her scalp. "Um, I don't know, how about you go take a bath and maybe it'll come out" It looked like a mess of jelly beans so I thought perhaps the warm bath water and some soap would ease it out.
A few moments later I heard some pretty serious crying - apparently Kyndi was far too worried about it. She grabbed the chunk and ripped it from her head - leaving a huge 'ol massively sore bald spot on her head. Ouch!! How did she ever follow through with such a painful procedure?
Once the glob (and all her hair) was upon the counter it was quite easy to tell it was gum. Gotta love gum. Wow. Poor girl. You should see the handful she pulled out!! How painful would that be??
