Spanish Fork Dons

Ever wonder what a Don is? Well now you know. Here are the highlights of Tyson's football game today:

*Tyson made 10 or 12 tackles in the game - 3 were solo tackles and the rest were assists - it was awesome! And the best part: The announcer called him 'Tyson Stevens" every time!! Hilarious! I now refer to him as Stevens.
*It's fun for me as the mom to watch him high five people on his team when a good play has gone down - or the time today when he swatted a teammates bum. (Why do they do that anyways??) In my mind he's still just a kid, I mean obviously he is - but when I watch him out on the field he's all grown up - and not the shy guy we know at home. I love it.
*Kamron was thoroughly enjoying Tyson in action today. He loved all the tackles.
*During timeouts and at the end of each quarter, music would boom from the speakers... Oaklee had no problem dancing her guts out for all to see at the bottom of the bleachers in front of everyone.
*One of the songs that played was "I like to move it move it" - when it started Dayton was away from us playing with a group of 4 other little boys (all older than he was... suddenly he broke into song singing "move it move" right in one of the other kids' faces. Pretty funny.
*They played the Payson Lions today and won, 16 to 14. This game was close until about halfway through - then Spanish Fork scored two touchdowns in a row and got 2-pointers for each one. Then in the 4th quarter Payson almost caught all the way up - but Spanish was able to hold on for the win!! Woohoo!! Go Tyson!
